2000 e350sd tranny adjustments???

2000 e350sd tranny adjustments???
hey guys are there any other cable adjusments on the tranny shift cable other than at the tranny 
made an adjustment at the tranny to get truck to start in park,(thought it was sensor but was wrong) and now it doesnt go into first gear from the column. just wondering if there is another adjustment somewhere in side the cabin??
also when the truck "rolls into park" it will not start in park. have to set brake for it to start in park.
Is this a cable adjustment or is the range sensor really $#!!ing the bed??
was told that if range sensor was bad it would not have any gears
any suggestions welcome
