Is It Bored out???
I took the head of my I6/300 yesterday and on top of each piston is the marking 090 and i've heard that when an engine is bored out that the size of the bore is labeled on each piston like that. So my question is does anybody know if this means that it is bored 90 over? I thank you for any feedback.

there's only one way to know for sure: measure it. You have to get a micrometer, which is really easy use to read, and measure the bore diameter. All other methods rely on blind faith. TK
