The hardest part for me was torquing down the gear drive bolt. Its hard since when you start to torque it the belts moved and the gear was starting to spin. After i wedged the belts, it was easy. About 2~3 hours to complete working at a good pace.
Mr Bob, most programmer or chips will post that code. Mine doesnt since the HPOP is now larger than the AB injectors i have will use. When i go to bigger injectors the code will be back until dual pumps.
If anyone wants to get a new pump, just say you need one from an 2000+ , they were all 17* pumps. The late 99's where also 17s.

Thanks John! With two kids running around and fighting, I like to make sure I have enough time to finish a job before starting it
You need to first remove the fuel bowl to gain access to the pump. Then remove the IPR nut, and the sensor, to prevent damage. Remove HPOP lines. Then the front pump cover, located by the EBPS, then remove the bolt inside DO NOT DROP THE BOLT, or that job will become a locating bolt inside your motor job. Then there are two bolts holding the pump in. Remove. Install IPR in new pump tq to 54in lbs.(Gotta double check that one). Torque the drive gear bolt at 100ft lbs. Reinstall everything.
