engine swap question ?
so here's the deal, i picked up a 87 f150 4x4 with a 300 straight 6 and auto tranny. has a bad motor. i have a complete 86 bronco xlt w/302tbi and auto tranny that has a decent drivetrain. my question is this - what's involved in swapping in the 302? how doable is this and is it alot of grief or is it fairly cut and dry? any feedback would be appreciated.

Motor mounts need to be transferred along with the engine and tranny. The wiring harness should go along with the plan so long as there isn't multi-port injection on either motor. You also may need a custom drive shaft.
