annoying squeak
Please help before it drives me crazy! I have a 2004 X with 60k on it. When turning my steering wheel to the right, or coming back from turning right it squeaks. I have greased every fitting under the front end that has grease fittings. And even sprayed a little wd 40. My ball joints do not have fittings on them, so I thought it may be those or maybe the tie rod ends. Someone help me fiqure out what it is.

thanks, but it wasn't the steering shaft.
well I finally broke down and took it to the ford place here in my hometown, knowing a mechanic comes it really good. My cv joints were completly out, and he wrote it up to where it would still fall under warranty. Thanks again for replying to my post have a great new year!
