I've got a 2005 F0250 XL with vinyl seats. The drivers seat is showing signs of splitting at the seam. Is this a warranty covered item? I know that it seems strange to some of you, but I like the seats I have and want them to last. Can they be replaced by factory seat covers? BTW, the truch is 27 months old and has 24,000 miles. Any thoughts? John
Call Ford and see if they are covered by warranty.I myself covered my seats from new by marathon seat covers, and couldn't be happier. Easy to get on and off for washing and alot of choices to pick from, and good price. Try a google search for seat covers and see what comes up. I've read posts of guys useing neoprene style but they are pricey, Okley or something like that. Can't remember the exact name.
I think you are thinking of Wet Okole. And as far as pricing goes, they aren't much more than the Marathon Superhides. I need to start looking into both as I will want seat covers before hunting season in Nov, and I think Wet Okole has a month wait or so.
I just ordered some new covers from Wet Okole three weeks ago. They are set to be delivered by FedEx to the house today!
What do you think of those seat covers? I wanted to order some for my truck but am a bit skeptical of spending $450 on a seat cover I've never seen before.
I'm very happy with my wet okole's, they are like a scuba suit for you seats. I had the marathon covers in my previos F150 and my wife always complained of the rough cordura texture when wearing shorts. The okole's are very nice, worth the money in my book. I purchased them through Cabela's.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback... do you have captains chairs? If so, do they cover the headrest and is the arm rest still functional?
I have Wet Okole Covers on the 99 F-150 and 07 F-350. Awesome covers. If you have the two post style headrests they have their own little cover, and the arm rests have their own little cover as well.
If you get the Wet Okole covers......I'd also recommend getting their care kit or whatever it's called. It's a bottle of shampoo, UV protectant and deodorizer.
That shampoo works great....took one of my dirty oil stained covers and got it looking good as new again.
Got my new covers installed this weekend. Very nice!
I have the front capt. chairs and they fit like a glove. My only complaint is that the arm rest covers are a little too loose - I am going to call them about this tomorrow.
The total for my package with shipping was ~$550. I am very happy so far.
