Electirc vs. Mechanical guages
As good as electronics are nowdays, I was wondering what the opinions are of aftermarket (Autometer) guages are. It seems to me that mechanical guages used to be more accurate than electric. Do you think this is still true?
I am wondering because installing electric gauges in my '91 would be much easier.

Electirc vs. Mechanical guages
With regard to the oil pressure gauge, I feel that reliability of the mechanical gauge overshadows ease of installation and potential elctrical failure of the electric gauge regardless of accuracy factors. I wouldn't use an electric oil pressure gauge.
