Big time conversion
Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone know what all would be involved if i were to change my 82 f-150 with a carbed 302 and AOD over to a efi 351w with a manual tranny? I know it seems crazy but a kid has to dream. thanks for any info whatsoever

Well if i do attempt this conversion it'll be a ways down the road and I havent found or heard of any manual tranny 302 or 351w trucks. what kinda of tranny did they have? or were they even offered?

There are plenty of 302/351 with manual trannies. The F250/F350 use the ZF tranny to for the 351. I swapped out my six for a 351w and the mazda tranny bolted right up to the 351. There are many people who would say get the ZF, the mazda tranny has worked fine so far.
