New injectors "help"

What is suppost to be done with the brass washer on the bottom of the new injector. I remove the red cap and it falls off. I guess I am Kind of confussed.

the "new" brass crush washer is used to seal the injector bore from the cylinder. use some anti sieze compound to hold it in place during installation. Be careful on install, dont bump that lil tip off the bottom of the injector ! Make sure you get the old crush washer out of the bore .

thanks I didn't see how it was going to stay on. I have pulled 4 injectors now 3 with code BB and one with G. will install new 4 now.

A dab of grease works well to hold the crush washer on also.

thanks guys. got 4 in now. working on the other for. going to set timing on IP to 1/2 mark passenger side. Hope that is good. tired of messing with it. need to get it to gether so I can go camping this weekend.
