Seems I have to change the pcv valve about once every month. It's to the point where I just now soak the used ones in mineral spirits until I have to replace the one being used. is this a concern or is this just the way it is?
Yeah, good question. I run at least 2 quarts. The funny part is each time I change the spark plugs, I expect to see dark shiney coatings on the plugs but there isn't any. They are all lightly tan with some white coating on the electrodes.
The ford PCV worked for me . But who knows . I just wish I could get OEM parts locally. As they are closed by time I get home. And I tried many online places and the shipping cost make it a loosing proposition.
This thread brings out a question I have. I know where my PCV valve is but what is the best way to rreplace it? Lay over the radiator and use left hand or lay over driver fender and use right hand???
