Bear you forget I also am a certified tech, I have seen damage done to engines by plugs and filters (although the upper end fram filters are pretty good, when i slam them I am talking the generic cheapies you can buy at wally world) so don't get after me with bothering with facts, at one point there was actually a tsb from GM about running champion plugs with DIS ignition systems and not to do it hows that for "factory" opinion (was later rescinded but thats not the point)

Hey Guys- no need to argue over spark plugs !!! I did find the NGK spark plug to use in these Edelbrock 61649 heads, its part number BKR-5E, now can some-one please tell me what heat range to get them in, The 557ci rebuild will be running 10-5-1 compression with between 600 to 700 horsepower, as I did use NGK plugs before in my stock 460ci cast heads so I will stick with them.... Thanks Jamie, Australia.

Maybe ya can go to NGK's web site or somewhere that will have a chart that ya can put yer numbers into to calculate the heat range needed.

For those who dont know ngks heat range numbers are not the same as north american brands. So make shure you check with your parts store that you got the right plugs.

Well, considering that Cummins wont warranty an engine with a Fram on it, and they sent out a bulleting stating that, and "Bobistheoilguy.com" has tested them and proved they were substandard,,,, you just keep spinning those POS filters on your stuff.
