It's a newer wood deck 16' trailer with a 1900LBs Miata on it!

Has anyone tried the air ride system from Kelderman Air Ride Suspension Systems? I know it's expensive ($1199. and $300-$400. to install per axle) but from what I hear it's the cats meow. I'd really like to have a set but at the moment it just isn't feasable for me... as I'm sure it isn't for many of us.
Nice to dream about, though.

Please do give us a report. Both on what you think of the ride and how the install goes. I'd have mine on by now but I work on the road, usually for several months at a time, and we usually get put up in appartments. Not exactly the best place to do that kind of project not to mention I don't have any jack stands etc. with me. 110+ degrees here in Vegas doesn't help the motivation anyway.

10 bands your only 8 to ten degrees hotter than back home...

And sorry about not getting back to you on the down-pipe...

Took a better look at my setup and I was already golden...

All I need now are bigger injectors and a bigger turbo.... Hmmm, wonder if I could pass DEQ ...

And here I thought I'd get myself a pair of Velvet Ride shackles... I had no idea until I made several calls today that the original company sold out years ago and they're no longer available.

That's supposed to be a good option for the front. Click here for one source for that.

Thanks for the links! Everyone I spoke with swears they are no longer available.

I'm eagerly awaiting the results from "compaddict" with his new Velvet Rides. Of course that would still leave me wondering what to do with the ride from the fronts... maybe a new set of springs to get my travel back to start with. Not really wanting to lift it if I can help it.

If you don't want to do the reverse shackle because of the lift it gives you can put front springs from a superduty in there. More work from what I understand because they don't just fit in place of the originals. Click here for some info on that. Not sure if that would create any lift or not.

I did a very quick look but it apears that he may have installed a Dana 60 prior to the spring change. I'll have to take a closer look when I'm not clothes pinning my eye lids open - need to be at work by 6am.

I'll take a closer look tomorrow, thanks for the link.

Thanks for the links. I was just today searching around the 'net for air ride setups for the rear of our trucks. I saw one in the shop this morning on an F550. This one looks simple and is less expensive than the others I found. If I can be comfortable that it will handle my big camper I'm going to seriously consider it.

What have you heard, specifically, about them?
