Something seems wrong there. Definitely sounds like CTD, which we know ain't fitting there. I'm betting someone did a little editing -- they obviously could, because of the way the scenes change and the PiP they had going. Notice you don't see it actually start up, nor do you see it shutting down. They also are never talking when the engine is running. Yep, I think it was just some clever editing.
Also, you don't hear it idling, it just starts burning out...
and did you see a puff of smoke, and it might be a Mercedes Diesel motor, they use CRD too, well maybe we get some pix one day, otherwise i think its a scam
The more I look & listen to it the more I think it a huge BS job. Listen to when the CTD shuts down, and look at the back wheels. They're still burning out!! Definitely a joke...
that is insane. why would you want to put a diesel in a vette anyway, so much stuff you can do to the vettes gasser. Although it would be funny to see a vette pullin a car hauler loaded with trucks down the highway.
Yes that is BS. No such thing as a Cummins that is modified enough, to benefit from two turbochargers, that DOESN'T make smoke when spooling. Look closely the tires start spinning before you can tell the load of the tires is off of the engine. Like it is still powerbraking. NO way you could even fit a duramax under that hood, but you could on an Impala.
