as you can see by K.T's post, the best way to get neg rep points is to abuse the smiley count in your posts. there is a strict 3 smiley's per post limit.

and K.W., i did not get my $5,000 F.T.E. rebate coupon, because, being the humble person i am, i decided to donate it to someone more needy than i am, like Dennis or Wolfie

Well actually I did get my first red - by mistake, the poster was very sorry, and he seems very nice. He did not mean to give the red, in fact the only reason I know this is that what he posted under the comment section was in support of my post so I had to ask if I was misreading something.

Oh well, these things happen, it is bound to happen to all of us at one time or another, I certainly am not afraid to post my opinion and (try) to defend it with facts, but I will also defend and support the right of anyone else to have their own opposing opinion to my own

At the end of the day when it comes to opinions - everyone has one !

One thing I have found that 99.9% of us can all agree on is our mutual support and fondness of Ford trucks

I haven't gotten any reds (yet), but I did get some weird hate mail once and I'm pretty certain it came from a fellow member. Kind of made me mad at the time, but I figured if my comment made them that angry then they've got other problems than my opinion.

I have recieved one of those rather unpleasant emails as well. I can't think of anything here on this great site that would be worth threatening someone over.

Still, none the less it is somewhat unsettling that there are people out there that would hurt or threaten to hurt other people over opinions.

I veiw us more as a family, yes we won't always get along, there will be the occasional disagrement, but in the end we all have shared interests, at least in Ford trucks

Eventually I laughed it off. The only people that try intimidating me are the ones that haven't met me.

I've gotten one neg rep too. It was for my general stupidity, and not having anything worth posting but posting anyway...You see how well that worked...
