SCT and EGR
I have an Xcal2 tuned by Matt that turns the EGR valve off. However, when I unplug it, it causes the truck to run differently. The truck shifts at a lower RPM (under 4000 vs. over 4000), and it shifts much firmer. I had the EGR and the butterfly unplugged because I was testing to see if the new model elbow would be safe, but came to find this. Anyone have any ideas on what parameters would change to cause this?
