According to my User CP, I'm a member of the "Alberta/British Columbia" chapter. I didn't see a listing for a BC-only chapter in the "available chapters" list.

Try checking on the chapters main page. Click on forums at the top, then on the dropdown click chapters,see if you can join it that way, it should work.

Hm, I just tried it your way, and it showed the BC chapter (this forum), so I clicked "join chapter" and it says I'm already a member... but it still only shows the Alberta/BC chapter in my list.
