bump test came up a bust. I pulled the clutch face off and inside, where the clutch face has splines, and mounts onto the compresser with the rest of the clutch (read other side of the clutch) there was a small washer. but with a failed bump test and the washer out, still doesnt work. It worked as rescently as this past weekend. I would start the truck, it would work. Drive 2 miles, stop working. turn the truck off at the bank... start it up again, and would work.
Im thinking it is the clutch. im getting ready to go outside and test the voltage.
I do have a great big cooler for the trans. Its factory and seems to be working (removed like to test flow).
I see mostly city stop and go traffic. if i drive spirited it sees 180. if i drive calm, 160 to 170. I took it on a 60 mile trip a few weeks back and it was at 135 to 150 on the freeway at around 70mph (75 degrees outside air temp).
