I'm working on a '95 International rollback with a t444E. I guess its not really a powerstroke but everything seems to be about the same except the motors blue. It had a dead miss and I found that one of the valve cover harnesses was completey Unplugged. I plugged it up and the engine ran mutch better and idled smooth. But, it would still miss and smoke white when you revved it up in neutral. I checked fuel pressure its getting 60psi at idle and goes up to about 65 when you rev it up, but it fluctuates really fast from like 58 to 62. Every cylinder seems to be firing-the exhaust manifold at every cylinder is getting hot and when you unplug every uvc harness you can hear a difference. Any ideas? Thanks
The flux in the fuel pressure is normal. Comes from the fuel pump doing its thing.
I would guess that one of the injectors from the dead holes has developed an internal leak causing the current problem......or it's just the cylinders that haven't fired in a while cleaning themselves out. Put a load on it for a few miles...see if it clears up.
