96 Bronco Engine - Light On
I have 96 Bronco 351W and about every 24 hrs my
check engine light comes on. I have a scaner and
scaned the onboard computer and came up with a
code of P1151: Lack of HO2S21 Switches-Sensor Indicates
Lean. Please advise if this is a bad oxegen sensor.
I have erased the code many times and every time it comes
back wth the same code. I would hate to buy new sensors
and find out that is not all of the problem.
Thanks Guys
I think it would be a safe bet your o2 sensor is slow. If you can put your scan tool on and watch the sensors you will most likely see it. Let us know what you find. If it were mine i would go for the 02 sensor good luck

I replaced the sensor but put it in the wrong bank
. Well the light came back on. I posted another message asking if anyone new which bank was which and I got an answer from OldFordTech telling me that bank 2 is the driver side, so I took the sensor and moved it to the driver side (bank 2) and now everything is fine
now, no more light. Also replaced the air filter with a K&N and boy do I notice a differance. Anyway dave thanks for you help it is greatly appreciated.
