Hi guys, I am new here. I have always had Ford trucks, but this is the only Four wheel drive one. It is a 03 F-150 FX4 with Electronic Four wheel drive.
The lastest problem is the thing switched the transfer case to 4-low while driving at 60 mph. Not once but twice.
The dash light never lit up, but I am sure that is what happened. Never touched the dash switch.
So the thing I need help with is what caused it. I am thinking either the switch or Generic Control Module. The four wheel drive works fine when you operate the switch. Right now I have unplugged the wire harness at the transfer case motor and haven't had it do it again.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
