OD light blinking

OD light blinking
First post - I have an all stock late 99 F-350 crew cab 7.3. While reading some of the posts I noticed someone mentioned the OD light blinking. A couple of weeks ago my OD light blinked after starting. I didn't notice any apparent problems and it has not done it again. Anyone know what could be the cause & should be conserned? Thanks for any feedback you folks may have.

You could try pulling & cleaning the ABS/Speed sensor in the rear-end. It's been known to collect scuzz from the gears and act up. If cleaning doesn't fix it, I believe it's a $10 sensor -- cheap fix.

The sensor is in the differential? If so I will try cleaning it first then change out if that doesn't fix it. Not sure I will know if it is fixxed because it hasn't blinked at me except that one time. Thanks so much for your reply. - Dan.
