E4od slipping into neutral Help!!

This trans was just rebiult 4500 miles ago . It started to act like it would go into nuetral for second and then bang into gear. Happens in 2,d, and od at low speed and low strain . Like following some one and just resting foot on gas. I took backto shop and drove the teck around for 40 min and couldn't get it to do it. You know warentys is broke no fix. Any Ideas whats up ??
Next time it starts I'm gfoing right to shop and would likesome info to throw in there face . Thank

But be realistic.
Inconsistent operation is difficult to diagnose.
I have had customers come to me and say it is under warranty, I want you to tear it apart.

Without much to go on how do you determine the need?

Reguardless of cost the customer is alway right. I get my buisness from word of mouth .

I delt with this shop for 15 yrs . I took this trans out (I do my own swaps) and after they rebuilt it they told me there was no warrenty (which they now had cut to 6 month 6000 miles) if they didn't do install. So I was stuck
I should have told them to shove the trans and go my extra rebuilt for $800 less at shop I deal with now. This trans is about out of miles I drive 200+ miles to work one way . Who eats the tow bill? Sad thing is this trans is doing what old one did and they said it needed rebuilt but now its fine.

Sorry I ranted a little , But My new shop knew problem right away as its common. So its take and leave at old shop till they fix or talk to lawyer (which I don't do) .

What would you do. I only made $9000 so far this year and have a familly take the $2000+ out of it and its my kids food.

It wasn't taken to another shop . Neighbor work at ford garage and is the "Tranny" guy. If he can rattle for 2 or 3 things it may be and not look at truck. last night.

I just wanted your guys input. I know it hard to diagnose problems but just wanted basic "what might be" . I got it from one guy would like to back up with another. Sorry I sounded bad I tried to get them today . I had to go to shop to talk to them . They will take in next week .
