This may sounds kind of strange, but I need some help locating exhaust tips. I have a certain type in my mind, but just can't find them. Hopefully you diesel guys will know of a good place to find one. I'm looking for a stainless 5" or 6" outlet (inlet doesn't really matter, I'll have the shop make up some reducers), angle cut 45 degrees, single wall, non rolled, weld on, that is about 18" long. I've been looking all over the place like on diesel websites, but I've only been able to locate rolled ones. They just don't do it for me. You'd think it would be easy to find a tip like this lol! I know that there are a few on EBay, but non really are what I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated.
Check with Grandrock and MBRP. I ended up buying mine at a Kensworth Dealer here in Colo Springs. They are chrome, but had what I was looking for. Levi
You could buy a rolled tip and cut the rolled portion off with a chop saw if you wanted. I would try Diamondeyeperformance.com I run a 6" SS tip thye make and love it. Good luck
Thanks for all the responses. Those Diamond Eye ones look amazing! Does anyone know if a clapm on can be welded on? I don't want one that has the bolt that you just slip over the pipe. I would guess that you wouldn't need a clamp for the clamp on one and just weld it on. I found Diamond Eye products and some of the forum sponsors, but that site was great powerstroked162.
Not a prob brother! Glad it you liked it. You could clamp the tip down on the pipe, then weld it on the pipe and then un do the bolt and knock the clamp off the tip. thats what I did. I didnt want joe-shblow stealin my tip.
My exhaust comes out about where Cabinetmaker00's does,,I got mine from JEGS,,although it only 3.5" they had many bigger tips,,all kinds,,check em out !!
