is my a/c compressor bad
think my a/c compressor is bad. I am getting ohms to the compressor (engine running, ac switch on ) but it wont engage. I even tried to bypass the low pressure switch to see if my compressor would then egage...nope. is there a clutch kit that i can buy or do i have to get a new compressor. When the motor is running, turn the a/c switch to max i can bump the compressor clutch and it will stay engaged. still the air doesnt blow cold. There is some sort of pressure in the lines, just dont know how much, any ideas will help. its hot here in florida.

so if i add shims it may work? or if i lose shims it may work?ive never taken clutch out of compressor before is it that hard? whats involved? I just dont want to drain my system if i dont have to
