After months of work away from home I am staying put for a while so, the ol' 93 is finally gonna get her facelift and a much-needed "shoe" replacement. I've been out of the loop here for a while. So someone refresh my memory, were there changes to the D44 TTB between 92 and 93? Somewhere in the cobwebs in my head I am thinking something was changed but can't recall what. Most likely internal but I need to remember BEFORE I start swapping things around.
BTW, you can all give me #$%^, I bought a NEW car... yeah... car.... felt weird at first but I'm getting used to it in spite of the fact that it hails from the General Mistake stables.
Of course I will be happy to share whatever ideas I can. I will need to go back and read up on Kem's dilemas.
The "facelift" includes the completion of the custom paint work that I began last year and the modification of the standard Tuff Country radius arms so that they have heim joints at the point of attachement to the frame (kind of a pseudo-wristing setup since when the arms drop with the TTB axle they also roll under in off-camber situations. Hoping to alleviate the wear and tear on the bushings @ the frame mounts. Axles are done and have been sitting for a bit so I need to check them out and get them under the truck. that should complete the project for the time being.... but you all know its never really "finished"!
And finally, the new car is NOT a Chebby (I would need to have my head examined)... rather a Saturn... the ONLY exclusively RWD car that Saturn has EVER produced. If y'all can figure that one out, I'll try to sneak a photo of it in somewhere before Rich has to strike a non-Ford photo. BTW Hiya Rich!
