new user i put this thread in the wrong section eariler i have a 96 f-250 p-stroke with t-back exhaust super chips chip (26lbs of boost) k&n and gear vengor o.d. (gv) the problem i am having is the torque converter locks and unlocks on its own it happens at steady crusing speed or at full throttle it is all intermintint it does it with the gv on or off with or without the chip and i also disconnected the gv wire harness from the torque converter feed wire it is all ford controll now what it feels like is bucking and the tach is jumping everywhere i have read the complaints and some people complain of bucking and help says replace cps i don't have any codes at all. has anyone delt with this before how do i diag the trans controll which is also the ecm. when it doesn't screw up it runs like a raped ape help i don't want to put the truck out of its misery it likes to smoke cummings and after an intercooler d-maxes

Well and intercooler wont help you smoke a D-max. You'll need alot more then that to take on a duracrap and even be able to compete.

96 stroke do you have the super chips tuner? my truck didnt like it, shifted funny kinda like what you are saying even after I would change it back to stock it would still shift funny after a while it would be ok? GOOD LUCK
