Range Sensor
Does anyone know how much of a pain in the @$$ it is to cahnge a range sensor in a '00 e350 sd???
wont start in park and dealer says it could be range sensor
doesn't seem right though, only has 41,4k on it,nay suggestions welcome

yeah tried that, worked a couple of times but not any more.
could it be something other than range sensor?
going to try to get ford to pay for whatever it is as it seems real strange for this to happen with so few miles. cant afford to have this truck down as its my work truck, any thing that may help that i can do???????

If yours is setup the same as my 97 Explorer, the transmission range sensor is plugged into the drivers side of the trans with an 11 wire connector..
I presume the shift linkage connects to the sensor.
