Thought I'd post a so far so good topic. Seems like alot of people only go to these forums when they have a problem( me included), and since I lurk more than post.
My truck is an '04 with 29k and it runs good. As it has gotten broken in it seems a little faster by the butt meter. 1 bad injector and ball joints, but I'm sure those wore out prematurely because of the lift and tires.
I'm really considering doing a gear swap now that I am pulling a 10k toy hauler.
Thanks for the positive post! I couldn't agree more!
I'm pleased and impressed with my 06. Just broke 30,000 miles and it's been all good so far. I finally had the oportunity to tow my 10,000lb boat for 6 hours at highway speed and I was VERY pleased with the mileage (11mpg), the power (70mph/1900rpm) and the passing ability.
This truck is and does everything I wanted when I bought it, however, I wish it would turn 100,000 so I can mod it without fear of.....
The next step down the food-chain is everything else on the road... If my F350 gives me a little trouble once-in-a-while, I just keep my mind on the benefits of having the BEST truck of my lifetime! Now where's that little Tundra-toy??
Only 35,000 Km (~22K Miles) on my March '03 built truck. Has had only 2 warranty repairs - Turbo pedestal was droning and transmission gear pointer on steering column came loose.
I think that truck hauling the cat is alittle overweight. They have that picture posted at my dads shop.
As for my truck. Its running awsome. Mine is lifted with 35x13.5's, so it works relatively hard everyday. I still manage to get around 16mpg mixed driving. Im loving it.
