have you changed your u joint in a while, mine did that then started vibrating then i got pissed at it one night w/ a girl in the truck "wouldnt let me go over 35, the truck was shaking so bad, so i dumped the clutch at a stoplight, and i heard clunking, so i walked a block to Autozone and got a new one and rented a 1/2 inch wrench and put it on and i was on my way. Remember, always repair before dating hot girls, especially in a redneck truck.
What kind of noise? I have had u-joints that made a steady noise while accelerating too. I cant imagine a posi would make noise going straight, around a turn maybe.
Posi lube needs to be changed out any ways today it is org. I am of that as was trans fluid. It could be center bearing on drive shaft to I suppose.Really need to drive it more often. Or put on jack stands and run in gear to hear where noise comming from. If I find problem will inform all. JW Miller
