Have a 2000 F-250 SD with turn switch 4wd, trying to find out if it is possible to convert current transfer case to manual (lever) or do I just need to swap it for a manual case (lever), and if so where is a good place to find a used one or swap one. Any help would be great thanks Brandon.
Are you having trouble with yours? Or just prefer floor shift? ( i know i do, and i love mine) If you are having trouble, what kinda trouble is it? And does it go away if you manually lock in the hubs?
IIRC you would need the whole T-case. It may work out to be the same price since the Electric T-case it prolly worth more than the manual, you would also need the floor shifter and mechinisim.

Not really having to many problems, I just likw the knowledge when you put the lever in 4wd its in, the electric one sometimes I wonder if its going to go in. I guess I should check junk yrads and look for a one there.
Side note do are there any differences between late model year transfer cases, such as strength, gear ratios. I was was wondering if a different year T-case would bolt up. Just a thought.
