I've never used a radar heat gun. Can you use them while driving? Is there some kind of remote to pivot it under the hood or something? You could never get your temps up that high without a load. On a dyno maybe?

You dont have to put a load to get temp diffrences, just let it idle and shoot some exhaust components.

Sounds like a good idea but are you saying the temp differences would be the same at idle and under load? Even when your foot's in it and temps are climbing?

I can only say what I have noticed, and what I have noticed is that the temps vary from 250-310 degree's. Load or not the turbo seperates temps and it seems to be in that temp range. If your doubting it then put it in your manifold. What works for me might not work for you but I do know it works. Good luck

so what you're saying is that when my dad was driving my truck with a 12k lb ditch witch trailer attacked and was hittin 1100* post turbo it wasn't a good thing?? humm lol
