Trailer height (repost)

I am reposting this from another forum because I didn't realize this one was here. I guess this is the appropriate place.....

Can someone give me an idea of the connector height of a level trailer on an 18' ski boat??? This will help me make an educated guess as to what I will need to set my ball height at for a rental.

Coupler height runs on average 15-20 inches however there is no rule. It may be better to contact the rental company and see if they can help.

Louisiana Law was 1 7/8 inch and 2 inch ***** should be 18 inches from ground to the top of the ball when loaded, measured on level ground.
2 5/16 inch ball should be 20 inches from ground to top of ball when loaded.
