Shoppin around for shocks for my 01' f150 reg. cab 4x4
I have found some great deals on pro-comp...any body have any input? Originally was leaning toward Rancho, but not quite sure how these 2 compare
Had a set of pro comps on my 87 Ranger 4x4 and loved them enuff to get a set a few months ago for my new 2000 F150 4x4. Plus the price was right. I am pleased with them. Jim
I installed the pro-comp ES3000 and the truck stiffen up a bit from the stock ride
They seem to work well when off road...Which my harder carcass of a tire im running might be some of my stiffness..
If you want plushness go with bilstiens, im hunting a set for my 2001, But not haveing any luck finding a 2" longer stroke...
I put Procomp Es 3000s on my 02 150 2wd. Of course the price is great, but the ride IS what I expected, firm, and the shocks follow the road surface better than stock. The 3000s are similar to Rancho 5000s, which I feel are great on rough surfaces.
Bilsteins would be even better, but may run you a few more bucks.
The 3000s are affordable.
