won't start
I could not get my 95 7.3 to start after shutting it off. had a burnt plug on harness at valve cover. replaced eng harness, valve cover gasket, cmp, o-rings on injector reg valve on hpop, test oil pressure on right bank . none! put both hpop lines together and had 800 to 900 while cranking. plugged r-side at hpop and tried . it started on one bank and jumped past 2500 psi, I shut off and plugged l-side at hpop and had 0 psi. my guage only read in 100 psi marks. pulled p-side valve cover and cranked eng , oil ran out the 3rd injector. pulled and found top o-rings blown, all 8 were rebuilt about 8000 miles ago. I would of never thought to check this except that a ford truck mechanic told me to look for the oil running out injector. thursday I will get o-rings. I hope this helps someone , I know reading some of the post helped me.
