New 30amp Relay Question

I have anotehr thread going about my recent in-tank and fuel lift pump installation, but have a question about my wiring setup on the relay switch. Can someone look at my posted diagram image and let me know if I need to include a resistor or two somewhere in the circuit? I'm having some gremlin like electrical issues since starting back up on my new layout, and I'm uncertain as to the potential causes. I won't regurgitate the thread here, you can glance through it from the link below and respond either here or there.

Thanks ahead of time for your insights and help.

OK. I ask out of complete ignorance. I'm still having those accoasional fast clickign episodes where the dash lights flash quickly while something is clicking under the dash. Once I cycle the key fob, locking and then unlocking the doors, the scenario stops and the truck starts fine.

Once I leave work, I'm going to double-check how tight my battery connections are and then get Autozone to check the batteries and alternator. That's all I can think to do.

Could eb pure coincidence, but I never had this problem until I disconnected the batteries this weekend and installed the new pump, which makes me think I got something wrong while either wiring or re-connecting.
I believe if it is related to the install, then it probably will be a connection problem at the batteries. Pay special attention to the grounds. See if you have any small grounds going from the bat neg to the frame and or sheetmetal. Also see if you have any small grounds going from the engine block to the firewall. Make sure these are in good shape and not burnt in two.

You should not need any resistors in the pump circuit.

Thanks, Dave.

I, too, am suspecting some "imperfect" grounding conection, and it just may be on the ground from the relay to my custome made bracket. I used a very thick bed of rubber on which the pump bracket is mounted as an effort to reduce vibration-related noises from the second/new pump. We used a wire wheel to clean off where the custom bracket contacts the truck frame and where the ground connectors contact teh custom bracket... still probably has some potential for less than ideal contact, I guess.

Anway, again, thanks for the input, Dave.
