Almost there
Just put the pistons in and cant find my torque wrench so a buddy is bringing one over soon so I can get the motor finished up. Its been a year since my truck last sputtered so by saturday it will be up and running. So excited because I get to dump this ***** box chevy that I have been driving for the last 3 months for something worth while. The chevy is 2wd 3/4 ton and gets 9 mpg driving like a grandma while mine got 18 driving normally. This is a new motor with less than 1/2 the miles but who knows what I will get.
My power steering went out as it died...does anyone know or say it should be OK that if I just take the belt off and plug the lines could I drive it back home. I live 80 miles from where it is sitting right now so I will drop the motor in this weekend and since its almost too late to get ahold of a pump since no one has much around here.
