Quick HELP! Windshield...
I'm at a point where I need to make a decision, and fast. (tinter is waiting) My 02 windshield is the plain glass without the "SUPER DUTY" on it. And my overhead gauges will not fit. Can anyone with an 03.5 or newer pickup WITH the "SUPER DUTY" on it help me out by measuring (from the inside) the top of the rear view mirror mount to the bottom of the headliner? I do not have an over head console. Thanks! Any help is greatly appreciated. Could you please post your year next to the measurement. THANKS! If my assumptions are correct I may have to order a new windshield.

Which is much better than the hair less than 2" on my 02!! Oh well, i'm getting a Brand New Carlite windshield for an 03. It was 113 more for one with the Super Duty up top..

On my '07 (with the Super Duty) it is 2 1/4 inches from the top of the mirror to the headliner.
Measuring from the mirror mount to the headliner, FLAT ON THE GLASS (not straight up/down) is 4 1/2 inches.

The headliner isnt a good measuring point because the windshield can sit higher or lower on the pinchweld. The mirror bracket should be the same on all super dutys unless it has a aftermarket brand. You could ask for a Excursion windshield because its bracket is lower to clear the overhead console, but it is a little more expensive. Although it wont have the super duty logo on it.
