If so where? When I change my oil I'm gonna change the oil pan plug gasket, but until then I gotta add a quart and just don't have room in the truck for a funnel. Any suggestions?
I would pick up a few paper ones at the gas station when I would fill up. I would grab a couple and keep them in the truck. They come in handy for dumping the used oil back into the quarts or gallon jugs! Although a few gas stations are taking them out of the service bays! Check it out next time you fill up, or ask for one at the counter!
The paper funnel sounds to me like it would be the best way to go. Ive got a funnel that I keep in my garage which I use when I have to add oil. I'll admit that Im not talented enough to add oil without a funnel without making a mess.
The only real space I can think of is between the washer reservoir and the radiator support, you may be able to wedge a funnel in there enough that it will stay. Problem is the funnel gets good and dirty no matter where you put it.
Hopefully temporary yes. I didn't think of how gritty it would get under there either. I was thinking of keeping a rag in there also. Seems like every hood I look under someone shoves something somewhere and it stays, like a bottle of brake fluid. Theres side panels in the back seats, but I got things in there (and the bible is staying). I did have a cut in half oil bottle I used as a funnel for a while. I wonder what stations you can pick up disposable funnels at.
If you need one you can always take a dried out water bottle...one of the smaller ones and keep it wedged in there...then keep the cap on it...when you need the funnel cut the bottom off...take the cap off and you got ur self a funnel.

Paper plates, stash a couple under the seat, roll them into a funnel and toss when finished. Dixie brand works the best, they're not too flimsy, and they're coated to reduce the absorption into the paper.
Don't use any with flowers on them or people will think you're a girly-man...
Oil bottles are destigned to pour without spilling. Use it the way that would seem upside down. Hold the bottle in the upright position, with the taller cap side away from the oil fill. Tip in the direction to make the shorter side of the bottle to be on the "bottom" as it is pouring. Do it slow and steady and it will allow air to flow in as the oil comes out. It also allows the bottle to be in a near horizontal position before the oil flows out. It will fall almost straight down and into the oil fill. You can try it once with a funnel but as soon as you get the knack, you won't need it at all. I used to make the biggest mess. And I carry too much stuff in my truck as it is. I got tired of the funnels and never looked back after someone showed me this trick.
