I have a 1995 F350 dually 460/E40D... I want to boost performance a bit for a 5000 pound slide in truck camper. I have found several plugin chip dealers, but would like to get something that I can change the programming on at will. I would like to set shift points, timing curve/advance fuel mix, uppet speed limit and rpms excerta for the type of driving I wil do that day. I have seen such reprogrammers for other brands of trucks but not my year/engine combination in the Ford line. Is such a piece of hardware available or can I build a laptop interface or anything else? Anyone know anything about this idea of mine? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
