I have a 96 F350 4x4 Crew Cab with 460ci and auto trans. I pull a 28 ft trailer. Currently the truck has free flow exhaust and a K&N Filter. I am currently using premium fuel to avoid pinging. Is it safe to add the chip if the truck already pings on regular fuel? I would like to add the chip for greater torque towing and a crisper shift pattern.

Steve:Yes it is safe to add the chip even if your truck already pings on reg fuel. It should help with a bit more power and help the shifting quite a bit. Feel free to call for further info
