Here is the plan:
Injection pump pressure test... What should the pressure be?
Injector service (remove to clean)...
Possible cyl. head rebuild...
Timing Gears replace...

Here is what has been done:
Regular maint.
New trans 3000 miles ago
New clutch at the same time
New exhause from the O2 sensor back (including cat.)
Differential serviced last summer (new oil)

If you care to know... I have a rebuilt 300-6 head with ZERO running miles... It was rebuilt with out need as the pistons were busted... No wear marks on valve tips etc... I would sell it but have no idea of how to freight it...

So, just tested fuel pressure @ the back of the rail: 47 psi idling
Book says 45 to 60 psi running. 50 to 60 psi not running.

But, in talking to a local Ford Tech, he said 47 psi was on the low end and that it could be low enough that under load (ie motorcycle in utility trailer up a 4% grade) it would be low...

Hmmm...

Hmmm, I was just looking at another post and someone stated that if the oil pressure from Idle to load is different, there is other issues? hmmm, Mine idles at 25psi and operates at 50psi... (analog gauge under the dash...) Should I worry?
