This forum is for 73-79 truck specific info and the 429 was not put in F-series light trucks
The block casting number is right above the starter
ie: C9VE-6015 -B
get the other actual date casting number while you're at it.
ie: * 9C24 *

Thanks so much. We just bought this truck and we're trying to get everything figured out. It has a 429 motor in it. Some things have been changed and we're just trying to piece it all together. Thanks a lot!
