Well I know living down here, a guy could easily get away with a ride like that.

Yes. Something like that near stock with a slide out bed insert under the cover an 4X4 would work for mamma's town car here. And we are looking for one so if ya all know of any PM me please. I'll be getting a Grant from the state this summer to buy one for a School bus. 50 mile round trip to school and back so that an F150 screw would work a lot better than the tiered Olds Bravada

Thats where I will start as soon as the paper work is active. Got a bunch of family and friends around there ta look stuff over for me as well. I can't hardly wait. A new to me Scab, I mean a Screw, Well you know what I mean. Mommas all for the one in this thread till I told her it was only 2 wheel drive. She makes the trip to school and back all winter. So getting over deep show and Ice is a must. And I don't think the state would go for that one. But I should be able to get one around 3 years old with the way the price is coming down on the. Fuel mileage isn't much of a problem as the school district pays 50 cents a mile so gas is more than payed for. Plus we get anouther 4k in divideneds that we will use to go get it. Ya just gotta love this 3rd world contry we all call Alaska. It just don't get no better than this. Now if I would get my fat butt away from this &^%$%$ computer and go injoy it.

Been looking at the new Escape hybrid at 30MPH. That would leave a lot of change from the Mileage money. But there is no clearance and no room in them.

these s'crews are awesome people haulers, i love moine, but its only 2wd. its all i need. the limited slip works fine for my winter driving, and it never leaves good roads where 4x would be needed.

That would be the way to go. But Momma has her heart set on an Expy. She likes to lay in the car and watch DVD TV all day while waiting for the Boy's. Told her I would put an insulated topper on it and carpet the bed. And even run heat back there for her. Now she is thinking maybe a fridge and toaster oven or Microwave. Maybe an X Box. The list is still growing.

Funny how that always happens, mention one or two things and the list begins to grow.
Almost like working on an old Ford truck, the list just keeps on getting longer....
