well, i wouldn't have sold it without getting back at least what i paid for it, but now i have another monkey in the mix... the guy with my '96 still has it and is desperate to get rid of it... 
going to try and get a hold of him today to see how low he'd go on it...

not this time... i talked with him and he still wants too much for it...well, more than i'm willing to pay... whatcha think... 96 f150xl 2wd, plain jane, NO air/tilt/cruise, I6 auto, right now about 290000kms on 'er and the body's got some problems starting. i traded it in, got a paper value of 4g's for it, he paid 2700 for it at a clearout sale two weeks later, wants 2500 for it now, down from 3000 about 2 months ago...

2500 is just a tad too much especially if its plain jane ans has over 290 000 kms thats quite a bit nothing for a ford but of course it affects the value what would you pay sherm 2000?

yeah maybe...i really don't need it is the problem, as much as i loved the truck, i gotta be realistic. as i say, one at a time. he'll likely call back in another month or 2 with his price lowered again...
