Domestic turn signal systems don't generally like LED bulbs. LED's pull very little current, to make it work you will need to find an electronic flasher. Something like these http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/KeepI...s_RELAYS.lasso
Also remember that incandescent lights emit light in a way that reflects off of the housing. LEDs emit a much narrow beam of light and don't generally light the entire housing.
Recon has LED mirror lights and 3rd brake lights available right now. They are supposed to be coming out with taillights next month. They also have replacement cab lenses, with amber bulbs, but they are not LED. They are a very popular size though so you could probably find an LED replacement bulb. Like ReAx mentioned though, you will most likely have to change out your flasher relay as the lower resistance will mess up the blink rate (they will flash really fast like if you had a bulb burned out).
since i already have led's fabbed into my factory tail lights, i dont have to worry about flasher issues. i have my stock flasher. i just have resistors wired inline to compensate for the lower load on the circuit. but thanks, i'll wait for the new ones to come out.
and the same in amber up front. they fill the reflectors as good as or better than the incandescent bulbs, and i LOVE how they turn off and on faster than the incandescents... and they also match my Recon 3rd brake light.
i just installed an elcetronic flasher in place of the factory one under the dash...$12 and no flashing issues at all.
Got a photo of what the back (fabbed) side looks like?
Any waterproofing issues?

Here is a picture of the backside after I cut it out for the light:
And here is the light in position (the electrical tape is just to hold it in the correct position). I then used black silicone to seal it and hold it permanent. I did this several months ago and have had no problems with water getting in.
I also cut my taillight housings, and mounted truck-lite model 60 LED lamps. Got them via ebay for $35 for the pair. I used a gel epoxy to seal them in place. A dremel tool works well for cutting the piece out of the stock reflector.
man, you guys did it the hard way!! looks good though.
FWIW, i did both taillights, both front blinkers, side markers, plate bulbs, and all 3 3rd brake light bulbs all in LED for less than $60 shipped... with no cutting involved. maybe i cheat, lol.
yeah, but just replacing your factory bulbs with the plug in led versions isn't worth it. they are no way near as bright as the led assemblies that we are using.
have you seen the style i have in person? they're not like the crappy directional LED's autozone has.. i had those in a previous vehicle, THAT was a mistake, haha.
