5 year/100,000 mile warranty question

Anyone know how the Ford 5 year/100,000 drivetrain warranty works? My 2002 PSD was purchased new in November of 2002. It currently has 68,000 miles on it. Is the warranty still in effect until November or was it up when we hit 2007?

That's ok, better a little slow than never at all.

Thanks for the response!

It's not a one time deductible, even if you bring the truck in for the same problem over and over again, the dealer will try to get you to pay the deductible. I had my van in there numerous times for an oil leak, the last time I refused to pay it and they finally fixed it. The problem was an HPOP o ring, WTF! I paid $300 in deductibles for an o-ring. I was either being scammed, or this was the world's dumbest tech. This was before I found FTE btw. Any wonder why they're called stealerships?

I used my warranty this week. Had the HPOP o-rings swapped out (leaking) and they also replaced the orange boots under the y-pipe.

They did this under warranty even with the mods that I have.

$100 deductible and they said I am covered until November.

The dealer was Gullo Ford in Conroe, TX.

I really need to do the CVC mod.

when i had my warranty work done, they replaced the high preassure oil plug on the back of the drivers side head (leaking), i just picked it up, signed my name and i was done, he said there was no charge as the deductible had been paid previously. Hummmmmm.

I was surprised that they did mine under warranty since nearly everyone has told me that they would deny the warranty with my mods. All they said was that I has some cool stuff under the hood and that was it.

Works for me.
