horn quit working

horn quit working
Heres my dilemma, I know its not the Ford, but my horn just quit working in my Dakota. The fuse and relay are both good. What are some other possibilities that the average joe blow can look for? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you have a test light or can acquire one check for a good ground and juice at the horn. If you're not getting juice at the horn or horns (some manufacturer's have two) double check the horn(s) relay(s). If you're sure the relay(s) is good and you don't have juice at the horn then you've got an open somewhere in between and you'll either have to find a mechanic or a schematic and go hunting. If you can, try and look at as much of the harness as you can and see if it's rubbed through anywhere or if the ground came loose, etc. That's the best I can do for ya' without a schematic or anything, hope it helps.
