92 Acceleration hesitation
I have a 92 F-150 with 75000 miles on new crate motor (5.0). The truck and, I assume, fuel injectors, sensors, etc have 303,000 miles on it. My problem is I have a slight hesitation around 1400 to 1600 rpms when taking off from a dead stop. It REALLY hesitates with the a/c on, almost cutting off unless I feather the throtle then it runs fine. Truck idles and cranks up fine. (Sometimes cranks up and cuts right off when cold but then cranks right up). I have changed air filter, pcv valve, checked TPS with ohm meter, replaced plugs. I checked timing and it is set at 12 to 13 deg. I tried to change it but the distributor will not turn for any thing. Guys any theroies?
