Wondering why my F350 Diesel is having a problem
I have an 2006 Ford F350 Diesel 6.0, I am having an issue with the engine shuting down at times. The engine slows way down to a purr, then the engine has no power to pick up any speed. I can not equate this to a change in elevation, heat or weight of a load when I have towed. The first time this happened, i was hauling over 15,000lbs. uphill, the truck lost power and we had to pull to the side of the road to let the engine revamp. Now, the truck seems to be doing this at random, just around town not pulling a load. (temp. gauge does not change with this either).
I am at a point that I am confused as there are no codes, it comes up clean when I have had it at the dealer for this problem.
Is anyone out there having any of this problem or can give me an insight to what may be causing this?

head for the 6.0 forum, you will get plenty of help there.
at the home page. look under the FTE banner, in the grey bar there will be forums at the left. put your cursor there, it will drop and click on list, scroll down to diesel forum and you can figure out the rest.
