I have Autometer guages. The little plastic boost guage line that goes into the Y, that is a ferrule fitting correct? The line is 1/8" in diameter so that makes it a ferrule fitting?
The reason I ask is because I was up on top looking things over and I broke off the boost line. Trying to re-attach has been impossible. I take it I need a new ferrule, the little brass piece that slides over the line.
Yes you should be able to find it at Home depot or lowes. If not try a little local hardware store. I found them at the little hardware store in magnolia when I messed up one on my rear airbag lines on my f150.
I will try HD again later I guess. Wife says she grabbed associate and they looked. They were all in little plastic bags. Smallest they had was 1/4". Sometimes I hate this little town.
I fixed the old one. Took a pin vise and a pair of small vise grips and really tiny drill bits and honed the ID until it fit over the hose again. Re-installed and it cinched right down. As I was climbing down off of the truck Mama pulled into the driveway with a package of five from Autozone.
